The Springfield College Archives and Special Collections does not hold the copyright to all items in our collections. In addition, we do not assert any additional restrictions on copies of items beyond those that might exist in the original.

As such, it is the sole responsibility of the user to make his or her own determination about what types of usage might be permissible under U.S. and international copyright law. Provision of a copy from the Springfield College Archives and Special Collections, digital or otherwise, should not be construed as explicit permission to use it for any particular reason.

Permission to Publish

A Permission to Publish form must be completed and signed before any resource from the Springfield College Archives and Special Collections may be used in any publication (print, web, video or audio).

Permission to Publish contracts grant permission for one time, non-exclusive use of the material. Any different or subsequent use must be applied for in writing. Materials used for exhibition, publication, or broadcast must be credited to Springfield College Archives and Special Collections.
