Marketing and Communications

In support of the mission of Springfield College, the Office of Marketing and Communications promotes the College in ways that enhance the public’s knowledge and understanding of the College; increases interest, support, and enrollment in the College; and strengthens—locally, regionally, and nationally—the reputation of the College.

The Office of Marketing and Communications (MarCom) helps to build understanding of Springfield College—its mission, goals, programs, expertise, accomplishments, and traditions, and its influence locally, regionally, and nationally—in internal and external audiences.

Specifically, MarCom collaborates with campus administrators, departments, and members of the community in planning and executing cost-effective marketing and communications strategies that increase support for, and awareness of, the College.

MarCom fulfills many roles that are vital to the College. These include:

  • branding and identity
  • public relations
  • publications
  • Web content and design and new media
  • media relations
  • sports communications
  • employee communications
  • crisis communications
  • marketing and promotional activities
  • advertising
  • photography

The Office of Marketing and Communications is responsible for leading the overall integrated marketing communications messages and programs for Springfield College and strengthening the College's visibility and brand to both external and internal audiences. The Office of Marketing and Communications reserves the right to make changes, additions, and deletions to any portion of the site or to any part of a print or electronic publication deemed not to be in keeping with Springfield College standards with regard to content, design, and editorial style.
