The Springfield College Office of Alumni Relations and Eastern Massachusetts Alumni Association hosted their annual summer event in Boston at historic Fenway Park on Aug. 20.

Springfield College continues to be well represented within the Boston Red Sox organization with multiple alumni working in a variety of different jobs with the team.  As part of the festivities, Springfield College President Mary-Beth Cooper had a chance to meet with Springfield College alumni Rob Bradford '92, Adam Perri '11, Matt Labossiere '05, and Michael Cometa '11 on the field before the first pitch.

Bradford, who was a communications/sports journalism major, currently works for WEEI radio in Boston where he is the main beat writer for the Red Sox. Perri, Cometa, and Labossiere were sport management majors at Springfield College and now work within the Red Sox tickets sales department. Unable to be in the photo was Jim Rowe '87, who majored in athletic training at the College and is currently the medical operations coordinator for the Red Sox.
