Girls are encouraged to bring a bagged lunch to eat as participants and their families are invited to stay to watch, free of charge, the Springfield College women’s basketball team play against Wellesley College on James Naismith Court in Blake Arena at 12 p.m.
“We are excited to once again host National Girls and Women in Sports Day at Springfield College, commented Kiki Jacobs, associate director of athletics at Springfield College. Traditionally, the turnout for the event is great, and the girls always have a fun time interacting with our student-athletes. We are looking forward to celebrating the achievements and accomplishments of girls and women in sport.”
