2024 Friends in Humanics Scholarship Nomination

During his tenure as the 1998-1999 Springfield Distinguished Professor of Humanics, Dr. Peter Polito, Professor Emeritus of Computer Science and Physics, initiated the “Friends in Humanics Scholarship” to assist Springfield College undergraduate students with a demonstrated financial need who also have demonstrated academic scholarship, leadership on campus, care and concern for community.  These students have put Humanics into action through various activities and deeds on and off the campus.

Faculty and staff of Springfield College donate to the scholarship, and all funds raised each year are awarded directly to students that year.  Faculty and staff are encourage to nominate deserving students from any of the majors within any of the Schools at the College, including undergraduate students enrolled at any of the satellite campuses.

Please complete the form below to nominate a student who satisfies the criteria by Friday, April 5, 2024. Recipients will be publicly recognized at the Humanics Lecture in April 2024.
