Primary Responsibilities:

The Graduate Fellowship position in Education Preparation & Licensure involves working together with several individuals under the direct supervision of the Director of Educator Preparation & Licensure.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Maintaining and summarizing numerous Qualtrics-based surveys and evaluations
  • Assisting the director with providing technical assistance to all practicum students and supervisors using online platforms
  • Assisting in the compilation & organization of all materials/records necessary for program approval (accreditation) of teacher/counselor licensure programs
  • Assisting with website enhancement
  • Assisting in all aspects of the placement procedures (following up with students to ensure all appropriate documents have been received on a timely basis)
  • Meeting with students to review the educator preparation handbook and to explain the practicum placement procedures
  • Working independently on various assigned projects until completed
  • Referring inquiries about teaching and counseling licensure to the appropriate individual(s)

Secondary Responsibilities: 

Some duties may include:

  • Office management tasks, such as copying, filing, shredding, etc.
  • Assisting with the day to day operation of the educator preparation & licensure office
  • Attending meetings

Fellowship Required Qualifications

Required Qualifications: 

Strong organizational and communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Knowledge of website enhancement, Microsoft Access (database) and online platforms preferred. Ability to take initiative, work well with others and accept constructive criticism. Applicants should be comfortable placing phone calls and be persistent getting tasks/projects done.

Position Requirements:

Individuals in a graduate level PEHE teacher preparation program preferred.
