We are excited to announce that the next book the Springfield College Alumni Book Club will read, beginning Friday, May 26, is The Last Green Valley by Mark Sullivan. In our free, asynchronous, online discussion platform, book club members will encounter the importance of hope and perseverance in the face of hardship as they journey with the Martel family, who find themselves caught between the Russian and German armies in Eastern Europe during World War II.
In addition to our book club discussions, Mark Sullivan will be joining us for an Author Talk on Wednesday, July 19 2:00 pm (ET) to share his process in writing the book and to respond to members' questions.
If you are not a book club member yet, this is the perfect time to join us on your lifelong learning journey. Joining us is completely free, you just need to secure your copy of The Last Green Valley by Mark Sullivan.
