Dear Classmates,

Our 55th reunion is almost here (June 9 - 12) and we encourage you to attend part or all of the many events that are planned. Here are a few highlights:

  • Thursday PM casual “party” just for our class @ UNO Pizzeria & Grill right next door to the Hilton Garden. Cash bar and food to make a great fun evening of mingling with friends from years ago, registration is required. This is NOT included in the main registration information.  Download the Welcome Back Reception Special Registration form.
  • Saturday afternoon our private class get together at East Campus, plus a short service to remember our classmates who are no longer with us.  Transportation to & from campus to East Campus will be provided.
  • Saturday evening Class of 67 table(s) at all reunion celebration barbeque under the tent at the President’s home for fun and a great dinner.
  • Ample time to see the many fantastic changes and improvements around campus.
  • Time to reconnect with friends: ASK YOURSELF IF NOT NOW WHEN?

You should have recently received a mailing and email from the Alumni Office with the registration information and more details on the various events over reunion weekend. Please reply you are coming and join your classmates!

February 2022

Greetings from the shores of Lake Massasoit,

Our 55th class reunion (yes, 55th) is coming up this June and we hope you will join with us as we recall our days on campus. Here are some key details:

The reunion is June 9-12, but you do not have to attend the entire event.

If you can only attend part of the reunion, that is terrific. The Saturday, June 11 class get together at the Pueblo will be especially meaningful. It will be followed by a wonderful dinner under the tent at the President’s home.

We will have a Class of 67 “social” on Thursday PM at a local restaurant in Springfield with wine, beer, and finger foods.  If you live close by campus, come join us! More details on this will be forthcoming.

We have a block of rooms on hold at the Springfield Hilton Garden Inn near the Basketball Hall of Fame. Call (413) 886-8000 by May 5, 2022 with your major credit card and ask for the SC Reunion 2022 block.

At our Class Reception on Saturday afternoon we will remember our classmates who have gone on as 12 more have left us since our 50th in 2017.

Our class scholarship endowment fund continues to grow and has made four awards since we established it at our 50th reunion. More details will be shared at our get together on Saturday.

In the coming weeks more reunion information will be on the College website under the alumni section.

Your reunion planning committee encourages you to come join us as we rekindle friendships, relive happy memories, and tell tales from too many years ago! Look for the official registration brochure in your email and your mail box in mid-April.

December 2021

Dear ’67 Classmates,

Time marches on and waits for no one as soon we will be celebrating our 55th reunion. Yes, 55th and the question is how did this happen so quickly?

Here are the key things to know about our upcoming reunion:

  • Dates are June 9–12, 2022, but you can attend any part or all of the reunion, whatever works best for your schedule. Come for some or come for all!
  • We will have a “private” get together at a local establishment on Thursday the 9th for those coming in early or living close to campus. We had a grand time doing this for our 50th and were asked to do a repeat! If you are looking for a hotel, we suggest the Hilton Garden Inn as it is close to the location for our Thursday night get together. Please call (413) 886-8000 by May 5, 2022 with your major credit card and ask for the Springfield College Reunion 2022 block of rooms.
  • Friday you can participate in the many activities the Alumni Office has planned and time to see all the great changes on campus. More details to follow.
  • Saturday, late afternoon, our class will head to East Campus for “Our Time” where we will meet at the Pueblo and relive Freshmen Camp… Oh the stories to be told. We will also pause to remember our classmates who have gone home.
  • Saturday evening, we will join other classes for a fantastic Summer Barbeque at the President’s home. We will have our own Class of 67 table(s).
  • We hope you will continue to support the College financially and consider our Class Scholarship which has made four awards to date.
  • This is the last “snail mail” re reunion, all other communications will be electronic. Please complete the enclosed information form and return it in the enclosed envelope to insure we have your up-to-date contact information.

Please join us as we recall our “Happy Days” by the shore of Lake Massasoit. Remember you do NOT have to attend all the activities but hope you will make an extra effort to be with your classmates on Saturday, June 11.

Till then all the blessings of the season and a very happy and healthy New Year!
