The Springfield College community has followed the news of Argosy University’s abrupt closing and expresses heartfelt compassion to Argosy faculty, staff, and students for the enormous stress and upheaval they are experiencing. Allison Cumming-McCann, PhD, professor and chair of the Department of Counseling, invites the Argosy clinical mental health counseling students to consider making nearby Springfield College regional campuses their new academic home. 

Faculty at the Springfield College campuses in Tampa, Fla., and Milwaukee, Wisc., are prepared to consider awarding transfer credits from Argosy master's students towards the Springfield College master's program in clinical mental health counseling in recognition of students' loss of invested time, dedication, and significant financial investmentSpringfield College's master's in clinical mental health counseling is a hybrid program meeting one weekend per month with online classes and assignment when it's most convenient for students. 

Students from Springfield College Milwaukee and Springfield College Tampa Bay look forward to welcoming Argosy students into their classes and community. Students may enter in the summer semester (May 2019) or during the regularly scheduled fall semester.
