Vaccination reminder and link to additional information - July 19, 2021 | Springfield College

Dear Students,

You recently received a reminder that proof of your COVID-19 vaccination is due by Friday, August 6th. Please read the additional information below:

Send a scan or picture of your vaccination card to healthcenter@springfield.edu. If you are scheduling your two-dose vaccination (Pfizer or Moderna), please remember that the vaccines are administered three or four weeks apart, depending on which vaccine you receive. In order to allow enough time to receive both vaccinations, and to wait the two weeks post vaccine for the vaccination to be fully effective, you should schedule the first dose now. Students are expected to be fully vaccinated (post two-week period) prior to arriving on campus.

Please visit our website for additional information about the COVID-19 vaccine requirement. Failure to be vaccinated will preclude you from being on campus or in class. With the increasing spread of the Delta variant in many states, it is even more important to be vaccinated in order to keep yourself and our campus community as healthy as possible. We continue to monitor guidance from the CDC and MA Department of Public Health as we prepare for the new academic year.

We look forward to seeing you this fall!
