Stephen Roulier is the vice president for communications and external affairs at Springfield College. The College’s main spokesperson, Roulier is responsible for leadership and vision of the strategic and integrated marketing and communications and brand management functions of the institution. Roulier also is responsible for further strengthening the College’s position as it relates to government affairs.

A national executive committee member for 10 years for the Public Relations Society of America's Counselors to Higher Education chapter, Roulier works closely with national and international higher education leaders to help set standards of excellence and uphold principles of ethics.

Roulier began his higher education career at Western New England University. During his 11 years at that institution, he served as assistant vice president for marketing and external affairs, leading the areas of public relations, Web communications, media relations, and publicity.

Previously, Roulier was an award-winning journalist with 20 years experience in television, radio, and print. He worked for several NBC-TV affiliates, including stations in Illinois, Vermont, and Massachusetts. 

A native of Adams, Mass., Roulier earned a bachelor’s degree in communications from Castleton University and a master’s degree in integrated marketing communications from Marist College.
