Build the foundation for your future.

At Springfield College, we’re not here to teach you what to think, we’re here to help you develop your way of thinking. Through challenging courses, varied clubs and organizations, and competitive athletics, students grow and develop the sense of self that College is all about.

Our students graduate and conquer. Our post-graduation survey found that 97 percent of 2017-18 bachelor degree recipients were either employed or enrolled in graduate school.

Our students jump into their programs and start their experiential learning in year one. What’s experiential learning? We’re glad you asked. Springfield College students graduate with relevant, hands-on career experience already on their resumes.

Beauty and History

With a history that dates back to 1885, we’re proud of our ability to honor our past while embracing the modern to give our students the best possible experience. You’ll notice a conscious effort on our campus to not lose sight of our historic roots. For example, how many Gulick Triangles can you spot during a tour?

When visiting the campus, don’t forget to take a picture with James (like Grant Hill did), located on Naismith Green, and tag us in your Instagram photos: @springfieldcollege.

Traditions

We’re big on traditions at Springfield College: emblems, ceremonies, rituals— we’ve got them all. Your first day as a new student, you’ll receive your beanie, which, our alumni will attest, you are pretty much destined to keep for the rest of your life. And don’t forget Stepping Up Day, Sti-Yu-Ka, and so much more.

Humanics

Perhaps the best tradition of them all is our College’s guiding mission: Humanics. The Humanics philosophy calls for the education of the whole person— in spirit, mind, and body— for leadership in service to others. Everything we do, from academics to athletics, is infused with this belief.
