Why was it important for you to give back financially to Springfield College athletics in your first year?
Being a part of a collegiate athletics program has been an amazing opportunity for me and I have personally seen and benefitted from financial donations from others, which is why I decided to give back to the program. In my time I can see that it truly is a great program, so it was very important to me to take part in helping the team.
How has your experience as a student-athlete benefited you, thanks to the gifts of others to the gymnastics program?
Due to the generosity of others, we had the amazing opportunity to go to the Peach Tree Classic in Atlanta. This was not only an unforgettable experience for the whole team, but also another way to get the Springfield College name out into the gymnastics community even more. We were also able to receive new competition warm ups and pants. Thanks to the help of others my first year as a Springfield College gymnast was nothing less than amazing!

How can coaches use philanthropic support to advance the student-athlete experience?
As Springfield College athletics grows, the incredible coaching staff can continue to use philanthropic gifts to enhance athletic facilities and equipment as well as grow their budget for key areas, such as hiring more staff or expanding travel funds. Whatever the greatest needs are for their student-athletes, I hope that they will be met by donating to Springfield College athletics.
What are some memorable moments from your time as a Springfield College athlete?
What I remember most about Springfield College athletics is the people! Whether I was on a team road trip with track and field, participating in a long run through western Massachusetts with cross country, or being invited to Friday potluck lunch with the College athletics staff, I am thankful for being surrounded by such an amazing group of people who felt more like family!
