PRIDE Talks Proposal Form
This fall, the Division of Inclusion and Community Engagement will be launching a series of TED-style talks to take place on the Springfield College campus. Using the TED talk format, which features short, powerful talks (18 minutes or less), we are seeking people with “ideas worth spreading” to participate in one of our planned monthly PRIDE Talks. Please submit your proposal related to our 2017-22 Inclusion Plan with a tentative title and brief abstract by no later than June 1, 2018. Please submit your proposal by filling out the form below.
Using our recently launched Inclusion Strategic Plan for motivation, our theme for the 2018-19 school year will be “Embracing the Promise of Tomorrow.” All proposals will be reviewed and evaluated based on their connection to the theme.
Eight proposals will be selected. Upon selection, an email will be sent with our scheduled fall dates (one per month). Please select up to two dates. Spring dates will be available soon. Please note, we will do our best to honor your selected date, but will assign you to a date based on coverage needs.
