Embrace
Being creative makes me feel whole. When I am inspired, I make art that speaks to my soul on some level whether it be whimsy or a personal statement. As of late, my work has moved beyond the materials of traditional artmaking to the digital dimension. My art seeks to invite you in for an experience, and to pass along the positivity it makes me feel. I begin with an idea which grows and evolves until I am satisfied I portrayed what I set out to. In this case, I want the audience to embrace the effects of color. Like a parent to a child, colors have the capacity to comfort, inspire, and encourage, although each color may spark different feelings for each individual. Allow the following images to provide a sense of comfort like a warm embrace- especially during a time where physical contact is so very limited.
