Substance Use Disorder Counseling Concentration Curriculum

Students must earn 120 credits to graduate. Of those credits, 45 must be taken at Springfield College (residency requirement).

Students must complete all three levels of required courses:

  • General education requirements
  • Regional and online requirements
  • Substance Use Disorder Counseling studies concentration requirements (Minimum 12 credits taken in residence)

Students enrolled in the substance use disorder counseling (addiction studies) concentration must fulfill their requirements for Group Project, which includes earning 12 credits through the completion of a project that is substance dependency or abuse related (under the course numbers ADST 330, 331, and 332).
