Recreation management will prepare you for administrative and managerial positions in a variety of recreation organizations, including not-for-profit, municipal, government, private for-profit, and resort and commercial industries. Today’s recreation managers must understand modern management theories and their application to effectively navigate the ever-changing world of 21st-century management challenges and opportunities. Cultural diversity in the workplace, downsizing an organization, top quality management, and the shift to a service-driven global economy are some of the skills you’ll develop through our recreation management concentration.
