You want to improve lives, build relationships, and make a true impact on people with disabilities. In the Springfield College rehabilitation and disability studies major, you can do all that and more.
The rehabilitation and disability studies major will prepare you to work with people with disabilities in community agencies, schools, early intervention, or medical settings and prepare you for graduate study in rehabilitation counseling or a related field. This major provides you with skills to help individuals living with physical, mental, developmental, and emotional disabilities live independently and achieve personal goals. The major includes three concentrations from which you’ll be able to choose: addictions and mental health, children’s developmental services, and medical rehabilitation.
We’ll prepare you to help improve your client’s physical, mental, and emotional quality of life. Are you ready to get started?
