Bring Credit With You

Springfield College seeks to make your college transition as easy as possible. There aren't many schools that will allow you to apply as many as 75 credits toward your degree. These credits can come from a mixture of earned credit from regionally accredited institutions, or from prior learning claims.

Transfer Credit

Springfield College accepts transfer credits from any regionally accredited college for courses in which you earned a C- or better. You can transfer in credit from multiple colleges as long as they are regionally accredited, which means they are recognized by one of the six US Department of Education accrediting bodies.

Prior Learning Credit

Springfield College also values the experience you bring to the program with you from professional and life experiences. Do you have a military background? Do you speak a second language? Have you taken part in professional trainings? We have a process in place for claiming these and other valuable learning experiences for credit. Learn more about the process for earning credit for prior learning here.
