The Campus Recreation department offers a variety of fitness and wellness programs and services each semester to the College community, including activities such as group exercise, personal training, massage therapy, seminars, events, workshops, competitions and non-credit instructional classes. Registration is not required for programs unless otherwise noted.

Koru Mindfulness (Registration Required)

Koru Mindfulness is a mindfulness program designed specifically for the needs of college students. If you're interested in getting sleep, reducing stress, and learning more mindfulness skills, then Koru is for you!

  • Dates: 4 Mondays: Feb. 4, 11, 25, and March 4
  • Time: 2:30 - 3:45 p.m.

Functional Training Equipment Orientation Workshops

Are you looking to learn more about our dedicated functional training area and conditioning frame? We’re here to help! Come join us as we bring you through a series of 45-minute, educational orientation workshops focused on how to use our functional training equipment, and how to integrate the equipment into your daily workouts.

*Please note: we will be offering live “sample” workshops later in the spring semester, so be sure to continue to check our web page for more information. Our live, 45-minute, small group training “Move-It” program will be launched in the fall of 2019. Come be the first to experience this incredible workout!

Take Home Thai Massage Workshop

You wanted more, and it’s back again! Come with a friend, or make a new one, and learn some fun Thai Massage pressure and stretching techniques to relieve stress and tight, achy muscles. Thai Massage takes place on a mat with participants wearing comfortable clothing that allows for movement.

Valentine Spin n' Glow

This will NOT be your average cycle class! We will be transforming our cycle studio into a glow-in-the-dark space with glow-in-the-dark decorations and upbeat tunes. Be sure to wear white or neon. We will be providing glow necklaces and bracelets at the door. *Note: this program will be capped at 25 participants. First come, first served.

Join us for this insanely fun glow-in-the-dark yoga experience! Laughter Yoga

Feeling stressed? Come laugh for an hour!

Laughter Yoga combines the joy of laughter with aerobic movements and deep breathing to increase endorphins, cardiovascular, and optimism. No experience is necessary. Laughter Yoga starts with forced laughter but soon turns into real laughter -since as we all know laughter is contagious!

Goat Yoga (Registration is closed)

It’s all the craze – who doesn’t want a soft, friendly, adorable goat massaging their back as they hold a high plank? Take a break from studying and join us as we host our first-ever goat yoga session on Naismith Green. This experience is the ultimate stress reliever – you’ll be laughing and relaxing the whole way through! Yoga mats will be provided for this event.

We will be offering two back-to-back yoga classes – each class will be capped at 35 participants. You are only permitted to register for ONE session. Registration is required for this event. We have reached capacity for this event, so registration is now closed. Please plan to arrive 15 minutes early to check-in.
