The Campus Recreation department offers a variety of fitness and wellness programs and services each semester to the College community, including activities such as group exercise, personal training, massage therapy, seminars, events, workshops, competitions and non-credit instructional classes. Registration is not required for programs unless otherwise noted.

Coast-to-Coast Cycle Challenge

Do you have a competitive edge? Well, then you won’t want to miss out on this new cycling challenge where participants will see if they can accumulate enough cycling revolutions to make it to their final destination…MALIBU, CALIFORNIA before the end of the semester. Be sure to ask our cycle instructors if you have any questions!

There will be two separate categories for the challenge; students and faculty/staff. There will be a winner in both categories AND we will tally up the total miles for each category and see who rode the farthest!

Can you think back to your first day as a First-Year student? Is there advice you wish someone had told you then that could have helped you during your first few months on campus? Then why not help out the future incoming first-year students with this advice and take part in the ‘Dear First-Year Student’ wellness program! Reflect on some of the lessons that you learned and make it a positive message to give to the students who need it the most! Write down the lesson and add it to our “piece of advice” wall or take part in our “Dear First-Year Student” video.

Well, we’re not actually giving away money, but we will be providing materials for students and faculty/staff to be able to leave kind words for a complete stranger, and receive a note as well.
