The Campus Recreation department offers a variety of fitness and wellness programs and services each semester to the College community, including activities such as group exercise, personal training, massage therapy, seminars, events, workshops, competitions and non-credit instructional classes. Registration is not required for programs unless otherwise noted.

Group Exercise Sampler


Looking forward to participating in our group exercise classes? Then come check out our group exercise sampler where we will offer 2 of our most popular classes! Each class is 25 minutes – stay for one or both! Please arrive early – space is limited.

    • 7-7:25 p.m.: Cardio Kickboxing
    • 7:30-8 p.m.: Yoga

Self-Defense 101 Workshop

This hands-on workshop is designed for students who identify as female and want to learn and practice basic skills in self-defense.

Take Home Thai Massage Workshop

Come with a friend, or make a new one, and learn some fun Thai Massage pressure and stretching techniques to relieve stress and tight, achy muscles. Thai Massage takes place on a mat with participants wearing comfortable clothing that allows for movement.

Dog Day (as part of October’s ‘Wellness Month’ program series)

Do you miss your pup? Come meet and play with the dogs of K9s for Kids – and enjoy a smoothie, too! You’ll also get the chance to meet and talk to staff from our Health Center, who will provide information on our health services and programs!

Swim, run & bike with us this fall! Faculty/staff will compete in one division and students in another. Course: swim 10 minutes in the natatorium pool (10-minute transition), bike 10 minutes on a spin bike (5-minute transition) & run 10 minutes on the Field House track. Performance is measured by the total point accumulation of all 3 events.

Partner Yoga

Looking for something new? Join us in this partner-supported yoga practice for wellness, relaxation, and fun. All levels of experience welcome. Come with a partner, friend, or on your own!

Join us for this insanely fun glow-in-the-dark yoga experience! Once registered, you’ll be entered in our raffle for a chance to win an awesome prize (i.e. yoga mat, stability ball, resistance bands, etc.). Be sure to wear white or neon. *Note: this program will be capped at 40 participants. First come, first served.
