We offer housing options for undergraduate and graduate students.

All housing costs for undergraduate and graduate students listed below are for the academic year.

Undergraduate students are required to live on campus for their first three years. All housing rates are billed per semester.

Residence Life Cancellation Policies

 

The College has a three-year residency requirement for first-year students, sophomore, and juniors. All housing contracts are for the full academic year. Any student who was eligible to commute who also selected to live on-campus is bound by the three-year residency requirement. Students who do not meet one of the College’s approved criteria are not eligible to be released from the residency requirement. 

Students who wish to cancel their 2024–2025 housing assignment must complete a commuter request application and submit it to the Office of Housing and Residence Life. If denied, student will be assigned housing and will be financially liable for the full cost of housing.  If the request is approved, based on student meeting at least one of the College’s approved criteria, the following cancelation fee will be assessed, based on the date the request form was received:  

Students who have met one of the college’s approved criteria AND who have not fulfilled the three-year residency requirement:

 

Cancellation before May 7, 2024$400
Cancellation between May 8 – June 30, 2024$600
Cancellation between July 1, 2024 and October 11, 2024*30%
Cancellation after October 11, 2023*100%

*Percentage of entire housing cost for the 2024–25 academic year

Students who have met one of the college’s approved criteria, AND who have fulfilled the three-year residency requirement, AND who have participated in the Housing Selection Process:

Cancellation between March 1 – March 31, 2024$800
Cancellation between April 1 – May 7, 2024$1,700
Cancellation between May 8, 2024, and before the first day of fall 2024 classes*30%
Cancellation after first day of classes in fall 2024*100%

*Percentage of entire housing costs for the 2024–25 academic year

IMPORTANT: Failure to participate in the Housing Selection Process does not exempt a student from fulfilling the College’s Residency Requirement. 

 

Graduate Housing Students who wish to cancel their Graduate Housing assignment must notify the Office of Housing and Residence Life in writing and the following cancellation fee will be assessed:

 

Cancellation before May 7, 2024$400 cancellation fee
Cancellation between May 8 – June 30, 2024$600 cancellation fee
Cancellation between July 1, 2024 – October 11, 2024*30% cancellation fee
Cancellation after October 11, 2024*100% cancellation fee

Students who officially withdraw from the College should refer to the “Tuition, Housing, and Meal Plan Refund Policy” located on the Student Accounts Web page.
