Mark Howard received a doctorate in economics from the University of Massachusetts in 2007. He joined the faculty at Springfield College in 2008 after teaching at Connecticut College for two years. He instructs in the following courses: Economics of Healthcare, Economics of Sports, Principles of Macroeconomics, and Principles of Microeconomics. In his research, Howard employs agent-based computational economics in a game theoretic framework, and looks forward to incorporating the same into his teaching at Springfield College.
