Pam Baran

Pam Baran began adjunct teaching at Springfield College in the fall 2016 semester. Prior to that she served as a dean for the Division of Business, Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics at Holyoke Community College (HCC).  At HCC she also previously served as chair of the board of trustees and interim dean of Human Resources.

Prior to entering the academic field, she worked in the banking profession; positions held include department head for Consumer Lending and Residential Mortgage Lending, commercial credit analyst, mortgage originator, and retail branch management. Baran also was a certified residential real estate appraiser and real estate agent, managing a local office. 

Her interests include various business-related courses and programs and supporting students during their academic journey. On a personal level, she enjoys spending time with family, including their quest to visit all Major League Baseball parks, and enjoying their dog.
