In today’s sports industry, decisions are made with substantial assistance from data. The sports analytics minor will help you better understand the analytic techniques used in the field, such as mathematical, probability, and statistical modeling. This minor also complements students in the communications/sports journalism, business, and sport management major, as many of the skills taught will prove valuable to graduates once they’ve entered the field.
