Student athletic trainer working with an athlete on a field.
Why study exercise science and sport studies?

As society becomes more health-conscious, the need for engaged professionals in the exercise science field grows, too. That’s where you come in. An exercise science-related degree will prepare you for careers in the fitness and health industry.

Through our programs, you’ll receive extensive training in physiology, anatomy, and the biomechanics of movement using our on-campus, cutting-edge laboratories. Our curriculum will help you begin to understand the ways in which the physical self is tied to the emotional and psychological self and how an individual's state of mind can affect the physical body.

You’ll be able to work with varying populations, too, from top-level athletes to the elderly, and influence their lives for the better.
