More than 70 Springfield College NSO student leaders led the first-year students to more than 40 separate locations throughout the city of Springfield and engaged in community service work. Members of the Class of 2025 were joined by Springfield College President Mary-Beth Cooper, Center for Service and Leadership Director Charlene Elvers, Center for Service and Leadership Assistant Director Nicole Coakley, and Director of Spiritual Life David McMahon in helping the College's neighbors with painting, yard work, and outdoor clean-up throughout the city.

This community engagement project was part of the Springfield College New Student Orientation Program that is taking place all weekend before classes start on Sept. 8. This orientation program introduces the Class of 2025 students to the campus, but also introduces them to the city of Springfield.
