Springfield College Greater Houston Partners with Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Houston to Offer Employee Grants

Springfield College Greater Houston has partnered with the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Houston in providing employee grants to full and part-time employees of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Houston, who are enrolled in either undergraduate, graduate, doctoral, or certificate of advanced graduate study programs at Springfield College.

“Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Houston is constantly identifying ways to improve the work environment and promote great rewards and experiences for our staff members,” said Kevin Hattery, President and CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Houston. “We are thrilled to be collaborating with Springfield College to help each of our employees achieve their educational goals and reach their full potential. Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Houston employees are eligible to receive scholarships, which have been established by Springfield College to support its members being educated for leadership in service to others. Employees of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Houston can receive the employee grant for each degree pursued at the College, and participants will be awarded potential transfer credits who have completed trainings and certifications as outlined in the College’s experiential learning handbook.

In addition, the College will provide a pathway for Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Houston employees, once enrolled, to earn additional credits for their degree program through the College’s prior learning assessment portfolio program.
