Once again, Springfield College was well represented on Super Bowl Sunday when the National Football League hosted Super Bowl LVI on Sunday, Feb. 13 at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. The Cincinnati Bengals battled the L.A. Rams on the field, but off the field, Springfield College had multiple connections to this iconic sporting event.

Springfield College graduate Allie Brennan '21 is currently working in the Corporate Partnerships department with the National Football League's Cincinnati Bengals. Brennan recently graduated from Springfield College with a bachelor's degree in Sport Management, and she was a double minor in Marketing and Business Management. In addition, she was a student-athlete with the women's basketball team.

“From winning our first playoff game in 31 years, to going to the AFC championship, and now the Super Bowl, it has been an incredible experience working for the Cincinnati Bengals,” stated Brennan.

Springfield College Sport Management major Sean Russell '22 is currently working as an equipment staff intern for the National Football League's Los Angeles Rams. Russell has been able to use his Springfield College experiences in various levels of recruiting, operations, event management, athletic equipment management, and brand management in sport to his duties with the Rams.

"Working with the LA Rams has been a dream come true and such an eye-opening experience for me. My favorite part has been bonding with players, coaches, and staff personnel on a day-to-day basis, and the fact that I’ve been blessed to work a job I love to do," stated Russell.

In addition, Springfield College graduate AJ (Alexander) Smith '21 is currently serving as the Football Administration Fellow with the LA Rams. Smith earned his bachelor's degree in Sport Management and Business Management from Springfield College, and he was a captain of the Pride football team, a member of the Student Athlete Leadership Team, and a member of Cultural Connections.

Smith has been with the Rams since July of 2020 when he started as an Equipment Operations Intern.

Springfield College graduate Brendan Burger '08 remains the LA Rams Equipment Director. Burger earned a bachelor's degree in Sport Management with a minor in Business Management from Springfield College.

Burger joined the Rams in 2019 following successful stints with the New York Jets and Miami Dolphins.
