Through the Springfield College History Education teacher licensure program, students will sharpen their analytical, problem-solving, research, and writing skills, all while also obtaining a basic body of historical and related knowledge. The program is designed to for students seeking licensure as a teacher of history at the secondary or middle school level.

As a graduate from this major, students will better understand the world they inhabit, the problems of their society, and their own lives—and they’ll be ready to make their mark by teaching these concepts to middle and high school students.
