Primary Responsibilities

This position is designed to provide support to faculty and students using our counseling labs and the technology systems. Duties may vary based on needs of the students and faculty and can range from providing technological support to providing instructional support, clinical supervision, and modeling creative pedagogical applications.

  • Support faculty teaching practicum and experiential counseling classes
  • Work with students in practicum to schedule, record and download counseling sessions
  • Provide counseling technical support to faculty and students
  • Provide clinical supervision to students as needed
  • Schedule and maintain regular office hours (3 days/week minimum)
  • Provide timely correspondence with students and faculty in regards to counseling sessions
  • Attend classes of the instructor whom they are assisting as requested
  • Lead tutorials as requested
  • Teach or substitute for program faculty, as requested.

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Support faculty in producing, storing and recording all paperwork related to practica, including release forms, self-evaluations, peer feedback forms
  • Provide administrative support to faculty. Including contacting students, trouble shooting
  • Create, maintain, and monitor lab schedules

Fellowship Required Qualifications

Required Qualifications: 

  • Full Time Enrollment in PsyD Program
  • Competence in working with computers particularly video software.
  • Strong background in counseling
  • Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills.
  • Organized and dependable. 
  • Ability to work independently
