Educator Preparation & Licensure

Primary Responsibilities:

The Graduate Fellowship position in Education Preparation & Licensure involves working with a team under the direct supervision of the Director of Educator Preparation & Licensure.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Maintaining and summarizing numerous Qualtrics-based surveys and evaluations
  • Assisting the Director with providing technical assistance to Ed Prep students  
  • Assisting the Director in providing support to all practicum supervisors in using online platforms, understanding the practicum expectations, and basic trouble-shooting
  • Assisting in the compilation & organization of all materials/records necessary for program approval (accreditation) of teacher/counselor licensure programs
  • Assisting with website updates and revisions
  • Maintain regular communication with all Ed Prep students, as directed,including following up with students to ensure all required documents have been received)
  • Assist the Director in preparing for student-facing meetings. 
  • Working independently on various assigned projects 
  • Referring inquiries about teaching and counseling licensure to the appropriate individual(s)

Secondary Responsibilities: 

Some duties may include:

  • Office management tasks, such as copying, filing, shredding, etc.
  • Assisting with the day to day operation of the educator preparation & licensure office
  • Attending student meetings as work schedule permits

Fellowship Required Qualifications

Required Qualifications: 

Strong organizational and communication skills. Strong time-management skills, Proficient in Google Suite (Google docs, sheets, slides, etc),  Microsoft Word and Excel. Ability to take initiative, work well with others and accept constructive feedback. Strong candidates are those who can self-direct to meet tasks/projects deadlines while working on multiple tasks simultaneously.

Position Requirements:

Candidates who are familiar with Education, PEHE, or other related fields are preferred.
