International Center - China Support Specialist

The graduate associate in the International Center is responsible for assisting the staff of the International Center with the day-to-day operations, including communications with international applicants, management of admissions materials, preparation of orientation programs and organization of cultural activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to enquiries from prospective students
  • File management for prospective, new and continuing students
  • Data management
  • Prepare materials and participate as a leader of New International Student Orientation for Fall and Spring semesters
    • Some airport or bus/train station pickup
    • Assisting new students with adapting to the new environment
  • Prepare publicity and assist with the organization of major international cultural events
  • Serve as a resource for international students
  • Answer phone and complete other office tasks at the request of the Administrative Assistant
