International Center-Study Abroad Graduate Associate
The Study Abroad Graduate Associate in the International Center is responsible for assisting the staff of the International Center with supporting and promoting the study abroad programs at Springfield College as well as the day-to-day operations of the department.
Preference will be given to a student with undergraduate study abroad experience.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare marketing and promotional materials for study abroad programs, scholarships, events, and resources.
- Maintain social media presence and implement strategies to grow online engagement
- Support campus outreach initiatives to promote study abroad and conduct general student advising on opportunities and the application process.
- Make updates, review materials and monitor applications in the study abroad management system.
- Organize study abroad fairs, participate in College Open House Fairs on 4-6 weekend days per year, and assist with organization of information sessions and pre-departure orientation programs.
- Facilitate communication with study abroad providers & partners regarding events as well as promotion and outreach materials
- Conduct research and maintain data on study abroad
- Serve as a resource on studying abroad for current and prospective students
- Collaborate with department staff on international events, cultural programs, and resources
- Answer phone and complete other office tasks at the request of department staff
