Intramural and Club Sports Graduate Associate
Primary Responsibilities:
The major responsibilities for this position include the supervision of and the assistance with the development, scheduling, and supervision of the intramural sport programs. In addition, this position requires assistance in the training of all intramural student supervisors, intramural sport officials, organization of club sport events and game management, and planning of late-night events. Additional responsibilities will include evaluation of rules, policies and procedures, facility maintenance, marketing, and equipment inventory. The position requires night and weekend supervision of all intramural sports or programs.

- Assist with interviews and hiring of student employees.
- Weekly scheduling of student employees.
- Schedule of facilities for all Intramural Events
- Managing the Springfield College IMLeagues account.
- Scheduling of leagues and Tournaments via IMLeagues
- Assist with league captain meetings
- Officiating contests as needed.
- Distribution of marketing materials for upcoming programs and events.
- Assist with new and creative ideas to market
- Assist the oversight of practicum students and/or interns.
- Conducting staff and supervisor meetings.
- Assist in payroll and budget maintenance.
- Assist in the judicial process in intramural and club sport cases.
- Recruitment and retention of intramural participation.
- Assist with game management of club sport events.
Fellowship Required Qualifications
Required Qualifications: The person in this position must be a full-time graduate student in a two-year program at Springfield College. Candidates should have a background in campus recreation and an intramural or club sport program area. Candidates should have strong communication, organization and leadership skills. Candidates should have their adult CPR/AED certification. Hours per week: 20 hours a week (Divided between normal business hours, nights, and weekend hours)
