Occupational Therapy - Teaching and Research Fellowship

Primary Responsibilities:

This Fellow reports to one or more OT faculty to assist with special projects, which may include curriculum development, faculty research, or finding and organizing student resources. Specific responsibilities may include assisting with class preparation and grading, managing materials and equipment for courses in the pre-professional and professional curricula, securing and organizing service learning sites and requirements, analyzing and reporting data for faculty research.

Secondary Responsibilities:

Other duties within the OT Department may be assigned during either semester, including filing, proofreading and editing documents, managing equipment for labs.


Fellowship Required Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Must have the skills and knowledge to assist faculty with class preparation, monitoring and posting of communication on class websites, proctoring of exams, assisting in lab activities, contact with community members for fieldsite placement, tutoring or mentoring of students, grading of assignments, and other support of teaching activities as needed. In general, Teaching Fellows must have previously completed the course(s) in which they are assisting with a grade of B+ or better.

Position Requirement:

Open to any new or returning full-time graduate student, with preference given to OT students.
