Physical Therapy - Teaching & Research

Primary Responsibilities:

The Physical Therapy Teaching/Research Fellow assists the faculty of the DPT program.  This fellow provides faculty support in organizing teaching resources, grading and research.  The fellow will be responsible for debriefing sessions of the physical therapy student lab experiences, teaching of PHTH 110 – Skills that Promote Learning (0.5 credit PEAC course). 

Secondary Responsibilities: 

Assist with equipment inventory, filing, copying to assist in departmental function.  Additionally, will be responsible for data entry and analysis in relation to accreditation criteria.

Required Qualifications:

  • Computer skills (Excel, Database management, Word)
  • Maturity
  • Initiative and judgment in personal and phone contacts
  • Organizational and problem solving skills with the ability to self-check
  • Ethical and professional behavior in maintaining confidentiality

Position Requirement:

DPT Student in good standing.

Hours per week:                     12-18 hours.
