Physician Assistant Graduate Fellow

Primary Responsibilities:

Applicants for the position must have the skills and ability to assist faculty with the following:

  • Assist in simulation lab activities
  • Grading of assignments, paying attention to correct spelling and grammar.

Administrative duties include but are not limited to:

  • Assisting faculty members with maintaining records related to clinical rotation scheduling and evaluation.
  • Other office management tasks, copying, scanning, and filing.  And any other duties assigned.
  • Collect and summarize survey and evaluation results.

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Assist faculty with special projects, which may include, faculty research, and data collection/analysis.

  • Maturity, initiative, and sound judgment
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to maintain ethical and professional behavior in maintaining confidentiality.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in order to work effectively with students, faculty, staff, preceptors, guest lecturers etc.
  • Computer skills: Word processing, fluent with all google docs applications, mail merge, spreadsheet application, and overall comfort with technology.

Position Requirements:

Graduate Fellows must be a full-time graduate student at Springfield College in good standing. Graduate Fellows must be available to work during regular office hours (weekdays between 8:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.) throughout the academic year. Ideal candidates will have Thursday morning availability for simulation-based activities.

Given the nature of the position, PA graduate students are not eligible to apply.
