Student Activities & Programming

NOTE: Students admitted to the Student Affairs Administration (SAA) master's program receive priority consideration.

The Office of Student Activities actively supports the philosophy that student learning and development occur through the extracurricular activities and programs that take place throughout the co-curriculum. The Graduate Associate will ultimately support the mission of the office and implement programming with the student groups they work with. The Graduate Assistant will work 20 hours per week - this will include nights and weekends.

Specific responsibilities:

Graduate Associate for Programming/Operations

Co-advise Campus Activities Board

Advise Sti-Yu-Ka Spring week committee

Live @ Lunch: Music and Daytime programming

Student Affairs Marketing-Calendars and Social Media

Club Fair Operations (Fall & Spring)

Pre-Camp(pre-orientation) Coverage

Leadership Development Programs


Fellowship Required Qualifications

Qualifications for the position:

Completed bachelor’s degree; experience in a co-curricular environment (paid or volunteer); presentation skills; strong communication skills; desire to work in a student centered environment; experience working with entertainment agencies preferred.
