Test and Measurements - Doctoral
Primary Responsibilities:
- Teaching two (2) sections of MOST 412 (Lab).
- Grading lab reports and Statistics Notebooks.
- Monitoring students’ research projects including research design, field tests, data analysis and finding reports.
- Assisting the faculty member in developing content for lecture and lab.
- Assisting the faculty member in teaching and supervising undergraduate students in the MOST 410 (Assessment in Movement and Sport) class.
- Holding regular office hours for meeting with students, tutoring them, and addressing their concerns and questions about the lab, statistics notebooks, and research projects.
- Assisting the faculty member conducting research studies on youth functional movement patterns, motor skill acquisition, and physical fitness.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Preparing to take students out into school assessment settings.
- Assisting the faculty member with research data coding and entry.
- Assisting the faculty member with preparing for lecture such as copying, filing, etc.
Fellowship Required Qualifications
To be eligible for the full amount of funding, the fellow must be a doctoral candidate. Required Qualifications: Position Requirements: Assessment is an important part of Model System for Educator Evaluation (MSEE) for Massachusetts and other states in the northeast region. MOST 410 Assessment in Movement and Sport has been and Studies curriculum of Springfield College. The GF position is limited to individuals from a physical education, exercise science or an equivalent continues to be a fundamental component of the Physical Education as well as Movement and Sport major. The Fellow must be a full-time graduate student at Springfield College in good standing.
