The Graduate Fellow’s responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:
1. Assist with all program planning, development, marketing, advertising, and implementation
of signature wellness programs including, but not limited to wellness retreats, scholarly
research, service-oriented initiatives, and community workshops.
2. Collaborate with key campus personnel to provide services and resources that enhance the
knowledge and application of optimal wellness practices inside and outside the campus
community.
3. Work independently on research projects related to health and wellness topics that will help
develop and/or further strengthen Wellness Institute programs.
4. Aid in the review of program content on the Institute’s webpages to ensure that currency
and accuracy of public health and wellness information is maintained.
5. Maintain a professional persona and presence on and off-campus occasionally interacting
with and greeting visiting students, faculty, prospective donors, alumni, and/or other
esteemed campus visitors.
6. Support the Wellness Institute’s staff in other applied or administrative duties as assigned.


Fellowship Required Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s from an accredited institution, ideally in the areas of Exercise/Health Science,
Athletic Training, Nutrition, Physical Education, Health Promotion and Disease Prevention,
Performance Psychology, or another related field.
2. Successful acceptance into one of the Physical Education, Performance, and Sport Leadership
graduate programs (Teaching and Administration, Sport and Exercise Psychology, or
Exercise Physiology).
3. Excellent demonstration in research writing, reading, and analytical skills.
4. Strong fluency with commonly used software programs such as Excel, PowerPoint,
Basecamp, and other office related programs.
5. Proficient in social media content creation, marketing, and engagement through channels
including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and WordPress.
