Submit your application to Springfield College easily and with no fee. Choose the Common Application if you are applying to multiple schools.

Transfer Application

Completed transfer application (On Campus or Online Program Application or Common Application (On Campus Programs Only)

Personal Essay

Your essay may be typed and sent directly to transfer@springfield.edu if you have not already submitted it. The essay should be a statement that addresses your reasons for transferring and the objectives you hope to achieve.

Official Transcripts

  • Proof of high school graduation
    • On Campus students must submit official high school transcripts or a copy of their GED certificate
    • Online students must submit official high school transcripts, a copy of their GED certificate, or a copy of their high school diploma
  • Official college transcripts
    • Most college transcripts can be requested online; check with your school.

All transcripts must be official copies and can be delivered either via mail to 263 Alden Street, Springfield, MA 01109, or electronically to transfer@springfield.edu

Letter of Recommendation (Optional)

The letter of recommendation can be from anyone except for a family member, but should be academic. The letter of recommendation can be sent via mail or electronically to transfer@springfield.edu as long as it comes directly from the author, not the applicant.

SAT/ACT Scores (Optional)

Springfield College is SAT/ACT optional for all programs
