Convocation

New Student Convocation is a cherished Springfield College tradition that officially welcomes each incoming class into the College community. As the academic year begins, new students gather with faculty, staff, and College leadership for a ceremony that marks the start of their Springfield College journey and celebrates their place in a community connected by learning, leadership, service, and Humanics.

More than just a welcome, Convocation is a moment to come together, look ahead, and begin a new chapter as members of the Springfield College family.

The Class of 2030 students will be greeted during the ceremony by Springfield College President Mary-Beth A. Cooper, distinguished faculty members, and other speakers.
