Angela Veatch served as the assistant director beginning in 2007 and was promoted to the role of associate director for the East Campus Outdoor Learning Center in 2016. She joined the East Campus staff in August 2004 when she moved from Indiana for graduate school at Springfield College.
She first became interested in facilitation while working for Indiana University’s Outdoor Center, Bradford Woods, where she became trained as a challenge course facilitator and trainer. She brought this skillset to Springfield College, where she also served as part of the Camp Massasoit summer staff, East Campus graduate fellow, and AmeriCorps member as a student.
Her true passion is rooted in education, teaching students the value and benefits of experiential learning and adventure-based therapy. Veatch is committed to inspiring and empowering individuals, groups, and organizations to maximize their personal and professional potential. She is an accomplished facilitator, program designer, curriculum developer, and personal coach who prides herself on engaging participants in fun and experiential activities that promote learning.
