Jarad Lewellen is an assistant professor and fieldwork coordinator for the Sport and Exercise Psychology program at Springfield College. His research has focused on the incorporation of virtual reality (VR) into applied sport psychology, including the development a training program to promote the awareness and acceptance of VR in sport. He teaches graduate courses in sport psychology and evidence-based practice. Lewellen is also a Certified Mental Performance Consultant through the Association of Applied Sport Psychology. Outside of Springfield College, he has consulted with a variety of athletes, coaches, and performers at the youth, amateur, and elite levels.
