Jason Holder, PhD, has taught various courses since arriving at Springfield College. He presents around the region on coaching leadership, effective communication, and sport psychology. As head wrestling coach, Holder has coached NCAA 13 All-Americans, 59 National Wrestling Coaches Association Scholar All-Americans, and 29 National Qualifiers. Holder was named 2011 New England Wrestling Association (NEWA) Assistant Coach of the year, 2020 NEWA Head Coach of the Year, and 2020 Regional Coach of the Year. He was a 2025 inductee into the NEWA Hall of Fame. He is an alumnus of Boston University, where he was a four-year starter, four-year captain, and three-year All-Conference athlete. In his senior year, he was an NCAA Division I National Qualifier.
