Jean McCaffery has more than 30 years of clinical practice and management experience, primarily focused in neuro-rehabilitation, and with the adult and older adult populations. She has provided direct service and led inter-professional rehabilitation treatment teams in hospital and sub-acute rehabilitation settings. McCaffery’s more than 10 years of academic experience has focused on experiential and inter-professional learning, and facilitating the development of students' professional identity. Her scholarly agenda includes inter-professional education, experiential learning, the assessment of students’ clinical competencies, and the promotion of a diverse occupational therapy workforce through access to health profession education.
