Prior to joining Springfield College, Nina Esaki was the director of research at the Andrus Sanctuary Institute, the training and consulting home of the Sanctuary Model, an evidence-supported, trauma-responsive organizational change intervention. Esaki has published a number of peer-reviewed journal articles on organizational change and leadership, as well as presented at numerous conferences. More recently, she was the recipient of a 2020 Sam and Bonnie Rechter Family Trust Project on Positive Leadership Fellowship from the University of Louisville College of Business. Prior to her career as a social worker, Esaki spent more than 15 years in the corporate human resources field.
