Mimi Murray on Jane Pauley Show "The Abuse of Power"

Long noted as an international pioneer in the field of athletics, Springfield College Professor of Exercise Science and Sport Studies Mimi Murray, Ph.D., appeared on The Jane Pauley Show on January 10, 2005 for a segment titled, "The Abuse of Power." Murray discussed recognizing and dealing with coaches who abuse their power when working with young athletes.  Murray has worked with students and athletes as a sport psychologist and a coach, in the collegiate and international arenas, including as a coach of the U.S. Women's gymnastics team. Her lessons continue to resonate today with our students and beyond the campus.
