Springfield College was well represented at the recent Eastern Athletic Trainers Association (EATA) Convention in Philadelphia. School of Physical Education, Performance and Sport Leadership Dean Sue Guyer, right, delivered the William E. “Pinky” Newell Memorial Address and Award at EATA. In addition, Class of 2025 Athletic Training student Joe Desimone, left, was named the 2025 District 1 Quiz Bowl Champion. Desimone will next compete at the National Student Quiz Bowl in Orlando during the 2025 National Athletic Training Association Convention in June.
