Springfield College Alumni Awards - Submit a Nomination Today!

Greetings Springfield College Alumni, Faculty and Staff,

Do you know someone who has been successful in their professional career, lives out the Humanics philosophy through a life of service to their community, and/or has significantly impacted Springfield College through volunteer endeavors? Please help us uncover and highlight many of these incredible stories by nominating a Springfield College alumnus/a for one, or more, of our four prestigious Alumni Awards.

We will be accepting nominations until February 15th and please carefully read the following criteria for each alumni award before submitting a nomination:

Tarbell Medallion

Established by Edward Norris Tarbell of the Class of 1889 and first presented in 1935.
Criteria - Outstanding Volunteer Service to Alma Mater - Service should be varied and demonstrated over a long period of time.
Candidates must be at minimum, 20 years post year of graduation. Candidates will demonstrate dedication to the Humanics Philosophy. 

Distinguished Alumnus/a Award

Established by the Class of 1940 in 1966.
Criteria - Professional excellence, outstanding achievement in one's chosen field, service to others.
Candidates must be at minimum, 15 years post year of graduation.

Young Alumnus/a Award

Established by the Class of 1966 in 1972.
Criteria - Professional excellence and outstanding service to Springfield College, the community, state and/or nation.
Candidates must be a member of the traditional 10 - 15th Reunion Class (classes of 2009 through 2014).

Hall of Alumni of Color Achievers

Established in 2021.
This honor recognizes the outstanding achievements of Springfield College alumni of color who reflect and express a commitment to Humanics and the Springfield College ideals through professional excellence and outstanding service to others.
Candidates must be at minimum, 15 years post year of graduation.
